Our first children’s home was a rented semi detached bungalow, one part being for the girls and the other for the boys. It was a nice building but was only a temporary measure as it could not accommodate any more children and applications for new children were being received regularly. We now have a new children’s home in Namugongo which was purchased in January 2005, it can accommodate over one hundred children with a separate baby unit which is at the planning stage.
